Health & You Exhibition 2009 - The Biggest Health And Wellness Event of the Year

Singapore, 9 July 2009 – The annual Health & You Exhibition, jointly organised by The Straits Times – Mind Your Body and Lianhe Zaobao – LOHAS, is back and bigger than ever. The exhibition has expanded from two exhibition halls at Suntec Singapore in previous years to three this year, proving its popularity with visitors and exhibitors alike. Admission to the exhibition on 11 and 12 July is free.

Mr. Khaw Boon Wan, Minister for Health, is the Guest-of-Honour of the Health & You Exhibition 2009 opening ceremony, which will be held on on 11 July at 9.30am.

Nestlé Singapore is the Presenter of the Health & You Exhibition this year. The leading food company has been supporting the exhibition since it was launched in 2005.

Now into its fifth year, the Health & You Exhibition is a 2-day event where health-conscious Singaporeans can find leading health, nutrition and wellness products and services under one roof. With a total hall space of 8110 square metres, it is the largest event of its kind and is expected to draw over 100,000 visitors.

There are also lots of activities and programmes, as well as interesting thematic areas, for visitors of all ages. In addition, there will be more than $50,000 worth of gifts and prizes to be given away. Please refer to the attached Annex.

Mr Danny Yeo, Assistant Vice-President of SPH's Marketing Division, says: "Singaporeans, already a greying population, are becoming more health-conscious. As Singapore's leading media organisation, SPH hopes to play our part by providing our readers with important and relevant information on health and wellness, as well as bring the latest health products and services to them through the Health & You Exhibition."

SPH has a 20 per cent stake in MediaCorp TV Holdings Pte Ltd, which operates free-to-air channels 5, 8, U and TV Mobile, and a 40 per cent stake in MediaCorp Press Limited, which publishes the free newspaper, Today. In the radio business, SPH has an 80 per cent stake in SPH UnionWorks Pte Ltd, which operates entertainment stations Radio 100.3 FM in Mandarin and Radio 91.3 FM in English.

Outdoor Advertising
In addition, SPH has ventured into outdoor advertising through its wholly-owned subsidiary, SPH MediaBoxOffice Pte Ltd, Singapore’s largest outdoor motion display advertising network media company.

Properties
SPH owns and manages Paragon, the prime retail and office complex in the heart of Orchard Road, Singapore's main shopping belt. SPH's wholly-owned subsidiary, Times Development Pte Ltd, is also developing a 43-storey upmarket residential condominium, Sky@eleven, at Thomson Road.
