Ogilvy & Mather Singapore and Singapore Press Holdings host “Marketing in a Recession - CEO Forum”

Singapore, 14 April 2009 – Ogilvy & Mather Singapore and Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) are hosting the “Marketing in a Recession – CEO Forum” that will draw senior business leaders together in an interactive discussion on smart strategies to take in a recession, to ensure greater results for one’s brand both within recession and beyond.

The CEO Forum, an event that is by invitation only, presents a cross-section of speakers with experience across different market segments and industries:

This event hopes to draw not only on the expertise of the speakers, but also engage the senior level audience in a broad discussion on how individual brands and businesses cope with recession. Therefore, the event will not follow a structured format of formal presentations or speeches, but will resemble a talk show, with all parties gaining their share of voice through the moderator’s efforts. Mr. Andrew Thomas, MD of OgilvyPR, Singapore, will serve as moderator for the event.

Mr Stephen Mangham, Group Chairman, Ogilvy & Mather Singapore, says this event is proof of the pioneering effort made by both parties to engage senior level businessmen on how best to handle the economic crisis: “This event will enable senior business leaders to engage in a thought-provoking debate on key issues and will equip them with solid know-how on how to tackle the recession in an intelligent, structured manner.”
