The New Maxim Will Help Men Live Better

Singapore, 16 March 2007 - Maxim, the World´s biggest Men´s Magazine, published by SPH Magazines Pte Ltd under license, will have a make-over.

In addition to a new layout, the magazine will also boost its popular ‘How To´ section with even more cutting-edge advice. The new Maxim will show and tell the reader how to outlive his friends, get his boss´ job or date one of Maxim´s cover girls.

Since its inception, two and a half years ago, Maxim has harnessed strong support from male readers between 25 and 35 years old, who are educated, well travelled, upwardly mobile and keen to invest in quality lifestyle, fashion and grooming.

In line with Maxim´s constant quest to keep its readers excited, to stay trendy, relevant and desired, the magazine ran a readers survey at the end of 2006 to find what they want for a good read.

Maxim´s readers looked beyond the babes in the magazine. Instead, many of them singled out fashion, entertainment, nightlife, gadgets, jokes and advice articles as their favourite section of the magazine. This reflected local men´s increased sophisticated interest and cosmopolitan perspective to life.

With this feedback in mind, Maxim started work re-positioning itself and the result is a more sophisticated, exciting and dynamic magazine that will cover everything the modern and tech-savvy Singaporean male wants. And with a clean yet exciting layout, the new Maxim will invite readers in without overwhelming them with too much information.

“The new Maxim has one mission – it will help you live your life better. It will be a handbook for the 21st century dude. The new Maxim will offer him the shortcuts to living the good life,” said Mr Dylan Tan, Editor of Maxim.

The new Maxim (April 2007 issue) hits newsstands on 17th March.
