SPH unveils details of its Sky@eleven condominium project

Singapore, 18 January, 2007 - Singapore Press Holdings Ltd (SPH) today unveils the name as well as other details of its iconic condominium project.

Aptly named Sky@eleven and designed as an exclusive high-end development in Prime District 11, the project will be soft-launched next month. It is developed by Times Development Pte Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SPH.

Located in Thomson Road and opposite the Singapore Polo Club, the development will comprise four towers housing a total of 273 units of 4-bedroom apartments and large penthouses.

Towering 43 storeys high, the four buildings will offer home buyers unique designs, quality fittings and finishes, with excellent views as the residential units will begin upwards from the fifth storey. Privacy is also another plus-point of Sky@eleven as each floor will have two units only.

Apart from its spacious units, one other special feature of Sky@eleven is its two sky terraces, complete with gymnasiums and landscaped gardens for residents’ recreational needs.

The luxury of space extends to the sprawling landscaped gardens in the open areas.

The ground level will feature landscaping resembling a small lush forest, spacious lawns, palms, ponds, bridges, boardwalks, a jogging trail and tennis court. On the fifth floor rooftop will be an ’environmental deck’, complete with a large landscaped garden with unique water features, a 50-metre lap pool, a leisure pool with a jacuzzi, a fun pool and playground for children, a designer-style clubhouse, and generous party cum BBQ areas.

Mr Sum Soon Lim, Chairman of Times Development Pte Ltd and a Director of SPH, says: “SPH´s condo offers great value given its prime location in District 11, spacious units, grand views and excellent design and top-notch finishes."

He adds: “The condo units will be released for sale in phases and they will present a good range of large-sized units to meet the needs of discerning home buyers."

Dr Tony Tan, SPH Chairman, says: “This condo project is a testament to SPH´s growing versatility, dynamism and willingness to seek out opportunities to create shareholder value. It is also a reflection of the type of high quality product that SPH is well known for. We expect Sky@eleven to be well received by both local and foreign buyers in the light of the growing demand for high-end luxury properties."
