Singapore, 21 October 2019 - SPH Buzz, a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore Press Holdings Limited (SPH), has been refreshed with a brand new look, better services and more products. From fresh food to frozen goods, Buzz is on a continuous journey to pursue excellence in the quality of products and services it provides.
With a total of 42 stores located mostly at commuter points, Buzz is a meaningful pitstop when going to work/school or when returning home.
The revamp will begin with 12 selected stores - Sim Lim Square, Blk 211D Punggol Walk, Kovan MRT, Clementi Bus Interchange, Tampines Bus Interchange, Choa Chu Kang Bus Interchange, Serangoon Bus Interchange, Toa Payoh Bus Interchange (opening on 12 Nov), Ang Mo Kio Bus Interchange (opening on 14 Nov), Outram MRT (opening 1Q2020), B03 Telok Blangah Rd (opening 1Q2020) and Bedok Bus Interchange (opening 1Q2020). The rest of the other stores will be revamped progressively.
New look: A splash of orange with a complementary side of grey, Buzz shows its unique brand personality through visuals using contemporary and simple designs - the spirals and speech bubble logo are a part of the rebranding concept.
Sim Lim Square, the very first store to be revamped, is looking fresher and more appealing.
More services: Our stores are concentrated at commute nodes to allow ease of parcel collection and drop off, registered mail and parcel services, cash withdrawal, purchase of attraction tickets, telco top-up and free wifi at selected stores.
Beyond being your convenience store offline, Buzz has plans to expand online - in fact, some of the sales are being conducted online through the use of a chatbot. The recent Detective Pikachu and Hello Kitty EZ-link card sales were carried out online.
Buzz strives to give consumers a better and more convenient shopping experience.
More products: For the revamp, consumers can look out for exclusive products and deals in October, November and December. Buzz brings to you Taiwan’s favourite brand of popcorn - Magi Planet x KiKi Spicy Sichuan Pepper flavoured popcorn, Haus Brew Brown Sugar Milk Tea, celebrity chef Justin Quek ready-to-eat meals, bean-to-cup coffee, imported Japanese ice cream, Oishi Gold Genmaicha (no sugar) and many more.
More than profits: At Buzz, every product is chosen with care to ensure excellence.
In the revamp efforts, bean-to-cup coffee machines are being considered for the outlets. And not just any ordinary coffee beans are used, they are coffee for a cause. Buzz has partnered with fairtrade coffee company, Puro. From bean to cup, every single bean is carefully grown and harvested by their farms.
There is something for everyone - Buzz has a variety of exciting and quirky snacks and drinks coming your way. From snacks and drinks to chef-grade meals, everyone can look forward to a little something in Buzz’s new revamp plans. Look out for the weekly specials in-paper.
