See them first at Singapore’s only Franchising and Licensing event

Brands and concepts will be showcased for the first time at Franchising & Licensing Asia 2019, Singapore’s only event of its kind.

Singapore, 15 October 2019 – The 14th edition of Franchising & Licensing Asia (FLAsia), the International Event for Entrepreneurship, Business Opportunities & Intellectual Property (IP) Rights in Asia will be held at Marina Bay Sands, Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Level 1, Hall A next week, 24 to 26 October.

FLAsia 2019 is presented by Franchising and Licensing Association (FLA) Singapore, and organised by BizLink Exhibition Services Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Sphere Exhibits, the events and exhibition arm of Singapore Press Holdings (SPH).

Local businesses have been urged to adopt a franchising or licensing business model to achieve business growth. This is reflected by the many local brands like Cio Enzyme Drink, GymKidz, Egg Stop, Onya, Sing Swee Kee, Xpressflower.com, and Spartans Boxing Club exhibiting at FLAsia’s Singapore Pavilion for the first time this year.

The Singapore Pavilion is led by FLA Singapore.

Close to 200 brands from 20 countries and regions like Australia, Brunei, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Malaysia, the Philippines, United Arab Emirates, United States of America, Vietnam, and others will be represented.

Participation of new brands from South Korea and Taiwan

FLAsia has enjoyed long and enduring partnerships with overseas trade associations. These organisations have led their respective home-grown brands to exhibit their products and services here.

This year, FLAsia will be joined by at least 10 new brands from South Korea and Taiwan via the South Korea and Taiwan pavilions led by led by Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT) and Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) respectively.

The South Korea pavilion has brought in a few favourite domestic Food & Beverage brands like Noodles Tree, Gramgram, and YukJeon, while the Taiwanpavilion, besides bubble tea chains like L’amour, Mr. Sun International Tea Chain, and Coco Fresh Tea & Juice, introduces Best Loving, a brand that uses modern technology to ease the burden of everyday activities for the elderly, and Leemay Enterprise which manufactures disposable eco-carriers beneficial to the many tea shops and other beverage stores that have opened over the years.

IP Lawyers, successful franchisors speaking at Educational Conference

FLAsia also features an Educational Conference with the aim of helping visitors gain greater knowledge on IP and legal aspects of franchising, as well as to pick up tips and tricks from the success stories of FLAsia’s exhibitors. Speakers include notable IP lawyers, Certified Franchise Executives (CFE) and Practising Management Consultants (PMC).

This year’s conference will also feature the newly minted Fresh! Brand Introductions - a platform where exhibitors can introduce their brands and concepts to potential investors and franchisees.
