Citi presents unique dining experiences with the newest Edition of Asian Masters

Singapore, 8 February 2019 – Asian food lovers can look forward to unique gastronomic experiences at the Asian Masters, from 1 March 2019 to 29 February 2020, featuring fresh dining concepts along with traditional culinary delights. Besides hosting a home kitchen dining and a supper event for the first time, Asian Masters also celebrates Singapore’s rich heritage with partners that are culinary institutions in their own right.  

Asian Masters 2019 will charm with a hint of nostalgia, thrill with the current trends and surprise with the unexpected!

 

Presented by Citibank Singapore, the seventh edition of the Asian Masters will come alive through a partnership with four entities well-versed in Asian culinary excellence: The Straits Times and Lianhe Zaobao Best Asian Restaurant Awards, Gastronomic Treasures, Feast Asia and Mixology Asia.

 

This year’s Asian Masters promises more finesse and exclusivity through the introduction of premium beverages such as wines, whiskies, cocktails and champagnes at Singapore’s leading Asian dining establishments. Participating restaurants include one-Michelin starred restaurants like The Song of India and Summer Pavilion, the oldest Chinese restaurant Spring Court, along with the new Hashida Sushi on Mohamed Sultan, Majestic Restaurant, Violet Oon Singapore @ ION and many more. This year’s line-up also includes private chefs such as celebrity make-up artist Tinoq; Aziza, who pioneered Malay fine dining in Singapore, and the award-winning cookbook author Bryan Koh of Chalk Farm.

The evening expects to see 300 guests with attendees such as leading professionals from Singapore’s food & beverage industry, representatives from winning establishments and readers from both national dailies. The celebration will be followed by an epicurean spread presented by award-winning teams from the Singapore Chefs Association, Bocuse D’or and Escoffier. Relish in this premium 6-course dinner specially curated by mother and son team of Madam Loh Hock Eng and Mr Lee Chiang Howe, which includes dishes that are not usually featured on their regular menu.
