Ten finalists were picked from 100 entries in both the Lifestyle Product and Graphic Design categories.
In the Lifestyle Product Design category, LaSalle students Andreas Latif and Xavier Hea were awarded the Gold and Bronze award respectively, while NUS School of Design student Kevin Chiam Yong Sheng bagged the Silver Award.
Two design firms uFurious and When I Was Four were awarded Gold and Silver Award respectively in the Graphic Design Category.
In addition, LaSalle was also given the “Most Active School” Award with a cash prize of $1000. The judges also presented a Special Mention Award to “Exchanged Forms”, an entry by Design Incubation Centre of NUS and Kyoto Design Lab in the Lifestyle Product Design category.
The winners were selected based on the combined results from a panel of judges (80%) and public voting (20%). More than 2000 people took part in the public voting contest.
Through the voting contest, Ang Ku Kueh Girl and her friends' "Whimsical Wonderland" and "Giving Is Love Bell" created by Yang Shu Hui came up top in both the Graphic Design and Lifestyle Product Design Category.
