A Tale of Fun Gone Wild at The Seletar Mall

Singapore, 24 August 2017 – Embark on a journey of discovery with The Seletar Mall as we bring you immersive and sensory-engaging experiences from 28 August to 1 October 2017.  

Events / Activities

Mini Standard Obstacle Course
28 Aug to 3 Sep, 11am to 9pm

Calling all sports enthusiasts! The Seletar Mall is organising a mini Standard Obstacle Course* at the atrium, with a total of six challenges to complete. The fastest challenger each day (from Monday to Saturday) will stand to win $200 SPH Malls Vouchers.

Catch the Top Challengers battle it out at the final showdown on 3 September. Winners will stand to win close to $5,000 worth of SPH Malls Vouchers and prizes.  Dr Lam Pin Min, Senior Minister of State for Health and Transport, Member of Parliament for Sengkang West SMC and Grassroots Adviser to Sengkang West GROs, will be gracing the event.

*National Servicemen need not make any minimum spend to participate in the obstacle course. Other shoppers need a minimum spend of $10 to participate.

The Young Warriors
4 to 10 Sep, 11am to 9pm

Too young to take part in the mini Standard Obstacle Course? Don’t fret as The Seletar Mall has the Young Warriors – an event that provides both physical and mental challenges for children 12 years and below.

For a minimum spend of $10 (in a single same-day receipt), participants can choose to participate in either of the following courses:
  • Advanced Ninja Warrior Course which is for children aged 7 to 12. The top 3 warriors with the fastest timings will win two movie tickets at Shaw Theatres at The Seletar Mall. In addition, the first 300 children who completes the course during the weekday will receive a goodie bag*.
    *Valid on Monday – Friday only. Limited to the first 300 participants, on a first-come-first-served basis
  • Young Ninja Warrior Course which is designed for children aged 1 to 6. Parents who post a picture of their young warriors going through the course will stand a chance to win four movie tickets at Shaw Theatres at The Seletar Mall. There will be a total of 5 winners.

 A Night in the Mall
8 Sep, 10pm to 9 Sep, 8am

Spend a minimum of $60* to register one child (aged 6 to 12 years old) and an adult for an overnight camp at The Seletar Mall. Participants can look forward to a night of adventures, from thrilling treasure hunt to workshops and more. Midnight snacks and tents will be provided. 

*Registration opens on 18 Aug and closes on 8 Sep, subject to availability on a first come first serve basis. Limited to a maximum of 3 combined receipts. Receipts can be accumulated from 18 Aug to 8 Sep. To participate, the child must be accompanied by his/her parent during the event. A token fee of $10 is required to secure your participation. Participants are to report at 9.30pm on the day of the event. Other terms and conditions apply.

Esports Festival – Battle of the Best
11 to 17 Sep, 11am to 9pm

The week-long Esports Festival titled “Battle of the Best” is set to bring you a host of fun and excitement.

Take part in the Electronic Super Cup tournaments for Clash Royale, Mobile Legends and FIFA and stand to win close to $20,000 cash and prizes. For gamers who are not into competitions, we have lined up exciting activities including lucky draws and experience booths where you can take part in console, mobile and pc challenges. You might just walk away with over $9,000 worth of SPH Malls Vouchers and prizes.

Celebrity gamers like Jian Hao Tan from NotGoodGamers? and Ash, the reigning champion of Tech Saturday FIFA17 Cup, will be down at The Seletar Mall to meet their fans on 15 September (5pm) and 16 September respectively. Play a game of FIFA against Jian Hao and Ash and stand a chance to walk away with SPH Malls vouchers.

Whether you’re new to the scene or a fan of competitive play, the Esports Festival at The Seletar Mall will keep you entertained with the best non-stop action.

About The Seletar Mall

The Seletar Mall (利达广场) is a four-storey mall, with five-basement levels (including 3 basement carpark), by Singapore Press Holdings Limited (SPH) and United Engineers Development Pte Ltd (UED).
