Pave your future with the right academic move at Scholarships & Top Universities Fair 2017

Singapore, 19 July 2017 – The Scholarships & Top Universities Fair 2017, the longest running of its kind in Singapore, will return on 23 July, Sunday.

Organised by Singapore Press Holdings’ Integrated Marketing Division, the fair will be held at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, Hall 404, from 10am to 6pm.

An extension of The Straits Times Scholars’ Choice supplement, the fair launched in 2001, presenting opportunities for prospective applicants to consult with representatives, admission officers, academics and professors from top-ranked local, US, UK and Australian universities.

This year’s edition includes more than 40 exhibitors, representing 31 universities and 10 scholarship boards. They are keen to meet candidates of outstanding calibre who wish to pursue their studies overseas, or who seek to study at prestigious universities from the United States, United Kingdom, Germany and Australia.

According to recent US Embassy figures in 2015, around 4,727 Singaporeans were enrolled in educational institutions there, most of whom were studying at the most prestigious universities.

These Ivy League universities such as Brown University, Stanford University, University of Pennsylvania and Princeton University will be showcased at the fair, alongside an array of renowned Australian and British universities such as the University of Sydney and University of Glasgow. Scholarship Boards include top-tier names such as A*STAR, SPRING Singapore, and Singapore-Industry Scholarship (SgIS).

Complementing the stellar line-up of universities and scholarship boards will be organisations such as the British Council, the US Education Information Centre, EducationUSA Advising Centre and the High Commission of Canada, to handle any queries students might have about studying abroad.

Talks about the scholarships available as well as studying in local, US, UK and Australian universities will be conducted by official representatives throughout the day.

Multi-faceted and highly informative, The Scholarships & Top Universities Fair 2017 opens up a world of academic opportunities and scholarships support, and is a must-attend exhibition for interested students and parents.

Admission is free.
