Singapore, 14 October 2016 – The inaugural Singapore Food Masters 2016 culminated in an Awards Night this evening, where the top three Singapore Food Masters from each respective zone - North, Central, East & West, were awarded. It was held at Ah Hoi’s Kitchen, Hotel Jen Tanglin.A total of 124 stalls and restaurants were up against each other in the hope of garnering the most number of votes by readers of Singapore Press Holdings' (SPH) newspapers. More than 17,000 votes were cast over a period of four weeks via SMS and online.The top ten most-voted-for stalls and restaurants for each zone had a panel of judges, comprising food & beverage professionals and food writers making surprise visits to these stalls/restaurants to decide on the top three finalists. The finalists were determined through the following judging criteria - taste, service, cleanliness, value for money and healthier choice. The judging panel consists of the following:1.
