Singapore, 30 August 2016 – The 24th run of The New Paper’s signature event, The New Paper New Face 2016 Finals, will be held at Marina Square on 2 September 2016.
Over the years, The New Paper New Face has successfully discovered fresh faces and talents among the contestants, such as Vivien Ong and Diya Prabhakar, who have embarked on successful careers in modelling. Past New Face finalists and winners like Atikah Suhaimi, Julie Tan, Dawn Yeoh and Jayley Woo have proven their talents in the entertainment industry, whereas Eunice Annabel and Saffron Sharpe have become popular social media stars and Velda Tan is now a well-known Fashion Designer.
Besides winning a generous cash prize of $10,000, the winner of The New Paper New Face 2016 will be able to have her name being added on the impressive list of past winners and will also receive an exclusive feature in Her World, Singapore's No. 1 women's magazine. The 1st and 2nd runners-up will win $5,000 and $3,000 cash respectively.
In addition to the title of The New Paper New Face 2016, there are four subsidiary awards to be won this year. They are:
1. Subaru Miss Vivacious
2. Cosmoprof Miss Photogenic
3. Her World Runway Star
4. The New Paper "Miss Popularity" Award, given to the finalist who receives the most votes by readers of The New Paper
The winners of the subsidiary awards will each win $1,000 in cash.
The New Paper New Face 2016 is organised by The New Paper (TNP) and presented by Subaru, with Cosmoprof Academy as Official Make-up, Marina Square as Official Fashion Mall, Her World as Official Magazine and Kiss92 FM as Official Radio Station.
