SPH MediaBoxOffice launches exclusive Valentine´s promotion

This Valentine´s Day, couples can declare their love in a big, big way. Literally.

Singapore, 3 February 2006, Friday - SPH MediaBoxOffice (MBO) – the outdoor arm of Singapore´s leading media group Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) – has launched an exclusive Valentine´s promotion. For the first time, couples can enjoy an exclusive screening of their love messages on SPH MBO´s landmark LED screen at Caltex House, Raffles Place.

This is a joint promotion organised by SPH MBO, news and lifestyle portal AsiaOne, and popular afternoon compact publication The New Paper, with WKRZ 91.3 as the official radio station. For $68, couples can sms their love message to be flashed on the 12 square meters Large Caltex House LED screen on 14 February 2006, between 7pm to 10.30pm. Three couples with the top three SMS messages will win attractive prizes and the top prize is a jewellery set from Soo Kee Jewellery worth $4000. The first runner-up and second runner-up will receive a pair of the latest Motorola handphones each.

In addition, as part of this special Caltex House Valentine´s Day experience, couples will receive a basket filled with wine, chocolates, dinner delights, a rose, a teddy bear, a mat and all things romantic for a picnic under the stars at Raffles Place Park. To up the romance quotient, participating couples will also get to enjoy a screening of a romantic movie. Greta Georges, the gregarious host of WKRZ 91.3 ‘s popular “Crunch Time” show, will entertain the crowd with her witty banter and bring the couples through this romantic episode.
