Leading transformation at Asia Pacific’s most influential CEO Congress

Singapore, 18 August 2015 – Sphere Conferences, the conference arm of Singapore Press Holdings Limited (SPH), and The Business Times, Asia’s leading financial newspaper, today launched the inaugural Asia Pacific CEO Congress (APCC).  The event will be held from 18 – 19 August 2015 at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Singapore.

The two-day event attracted close to 200 CEOs from leading businesses across Asia, coming together to debate and strategise on key issues of doing business in an ever changing and competitive world. 

The theme of “Leading Transformation” saw some intense discussions between the corporate leaders on key areas such as macro overview of Asia Pacific and the world on businesses, impact of intensified globalisation, driving business forward with digital transformation, strategic philanthropy, SG100 and, developing and engaging human capital.

One of the key highlights of the conference was the discussion on how digital transformation plays a big role in creating innovative business models and processes. The panel, which consisted of experts from iProperty Group, NetSuite, SingTel and Uber, shared insights on the benefits of embracing cutting edge technology for businesses.

In the spirit of SG50, APCC commemorated the impressive strides that Singapore has achieved in its 50 years of independence. This SG50 panel was represented by business leaders from key local companies - CapitaLand, MyRepublic, Sakae Holdings, Shell Companies in Singapore and The Straits Trading Company. They shared their experience, opinions and ideas on how SG50 will influence what SG100 would bring to the economy and nation.
