Singapore, 8 July 2015 --- Health & You Exhibition, the annual mega health and wellness exhibition jointly organised by The Straits Times - Mind & Body and Lianhe Zaobao – LOHAS has hit a record number of 100 exhibitors this year. This is a significant increase from last year's total of 65 exhibitors. This two-day exhibition will be held at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre Halls 404 – 406 on 11 and 12 July 2015, from 9am to 9pm. Admission is free.
With the much larger number of exhibitors, visitors can expect to see an even more extensive variety of products and services offered at this year’s exhibition than previous editions. Besides good deals and attractive bargains, there are exhibitors offering free health screenings and showcasing their new products at the Health & You Exhibition, Singapore's largest health-related exhibition. Mr Michael Tan, Chairman of Health & You 2015, said: “I am very pleased that the number of exhibitors at Health & You has hit a record high of 100 exhibitors since it started in 2005. This shows that the exhibitors were pleased by previous years' successes and have confidence in Health & You. We encourage everyone to visit this year's exhibition as there are lots of great offers and something for everyone - from children to adults, young couples to families." Seminar RoomVisitors who want to know more about specific health issues can register for a series of free health talks conducted by health professionals on both Saturday and Sunday. There are a total of 12 different topics and each session can seat up to 100 people. Pre-registration is required.
Active LifestyleVisitors who want to experience the latest exercise trend can join the Zumba Fitness and KpopX Aerobics where the trainers will show the steps to the participants. There are two sessions of Zumba Fitness by iFiesta and two sessions of KpopZ Aerobics by Dan-Z Fitness on both Saturday and Sunday. No registration is required and all are welcome to join in.Healthy EatingVisitors who want to eat healthily are encouraged to look out for the cooking demonstrations by Eugene He and Chef John Sawarto. There will also be a healthy sandwich making competition where shortlisted contestants will prepare healthy and delicious sandwiches with their secret recipes. These activities will be happening at the stage area on both Saturday and Sunday.Kids’ CornerYoung visitors can join the arts and craft workshop reserved for kids aged 5 to 12 years old. There will be Ceramic Coin Bank Painting, where kids get to bring home one-of-a-kind coin bank and learn the virtue of saving from young. There will also be Sand Art, where kids get to make wonderful coloured pictures with sand and take home as a souvenir. These activities are free and registration will be held on-site. There will be four sessions of arts and craft workshop on both Saturday and Sunday. Limited to 100 children per session.
