Kiss92 Achieves Highest Growth In Cumulative Listenership!

Singapore, 3 July 2015 - Kiss92 leads the pack with the highest growth in cumulative listenership among English radio stations following the release of the results of  the latest Nielsen radio survey today.

The station’s cumulative listenership now stands at 645,000 following a 3% increase from the previous Nielsen radio survey conducted in September 2014. In terms of share % of the total radio listening audience, Kiss92 retained its number one position among English radio stations.

Kiss92 is Singapore’s only radio station targeting women aged 30-50 years old. The three year old station plays All the Great Songs in One Place with popular songs from the early 1990s, 2000s and current hits.

We’re a very young station and we’re very thankful for the support we’ve had from our fans over the past three years. It truly motivates us to do better and more for our fans.”

UFM100.3, SPH Radio’s only Mandarin radio station, garnered 330,000 listeners during this period when the station ran its annual U1000 countdown that allowed fans to vote for their favourite 1,000 mandarin songs.

SPH Radio’s newest English radio station, ONE FM 91.3 debuts with a cumulative listenership of 243,000, which is a stellar result for a brand new station that is barely six month old at the time of the survey. ONE FM 91.3, targeted at males aged 30 and above, plays Real Music, with bands like Bon Jovi, Guns N’ Roses, Queen, Lenny Kravitz, Red Hot Chili Peppers, U2, Nirvana, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC and more. The station gave away four big experiences to fans in its key station promotion, the Big Ones, including a flyaway to catch AC/DC live in Munich, and The Rolling Stones in Orlando.

ONE FM 91.3 is set to unveil its full Breakfast Show line up on 6 July 2015, 8am on-air.

With a listenership of 645,000*, Kiss92 provides in-depth women and family content, coupled with adult contemporary music. Women aged 30 and above, and families will find the channel informative and entertaining. 

Maddy, Jason and Arnold in the morning, start the day from 6am to 10pm, followed by Claressa Monteiro jazzing up the afternoon from10am to 1pm. Charmaine Yee from 1pm to 4pm and John Klass taking fans home helming the 4pm to 8pm show.

UFM100.3 is a highly-charged Mandarin infotainment station, with a cumulative listenership of 330,000*, targeting at working professionals aged between 35 – 49 years that is specially catered to their lifestyle. Its creative, lively and engaging delivery style is able to consistently hook listeners on for a far longer period of listening. Program content is designed to cater specifically for the busy individuals with timely updates and discussion on current affairs, health and wellness, financial planning, property investment, communication, lifestyle, music and entertainment. 

The station’s drive-time programmes are anchored by veteran DJs Wenhong, Limei and Xiaozhu in the morning followed by DJ Anna from 10am to 1pm. Yuling takes over from 1pm to 4pm and makes way for Jingyun and Liangquan from 4pm to 8pm. Xinying rounds up the day from 8pm to 12am

The station actively engages its listeners through various interactive events such as dinner gatherings and enrichment workshops. To further strengthen loyalty, DJs also reaches out to the public through its outdoor activations, conducting games and giveaway prizes while introducing the station to new potential listeners. UFM 100.3 also supports various community, non-profit and charity organizations with its annual U-Shine program that raises public awareness of lesser known causes and charities.
