22 year-old national handball player Edel Sng is winner of CLEO 50 Most Eligible Bachelors 2015

Singapore, 21 March 2015 – CLEO Singapore, the best-selling local magazine for young women published by SPH Magazines Pte Ltd, revealed Edel Sng, 22-year-old national handball player and undergrad, as the winner of CLEO 50 Most Eligible Bachelors 2015 contest. 

Edel Sng said: “Winning isn’t everything. It’s the experience and memories gained that matters most. I’m really thankful and blessed with a team of fun and awesome bachelors as well as the CLEO team.”  Edel walked away with more than $2,200 worth of products and prizes. 

Into its 20th year, the signature annual event for CLEO is a highly-anticipated contest which showcases 50 hot and eligible men in Singapore. Today’s finals party was held at Tanjong Beach Club, Sentosa. 

The event also crowned two subsidiary award winners - 24-year old undergrad, Zheng Kaiwen won Cutest Sun-Kissed Bachelor and 26 year-old Military Nurse, Shane Edward Tam was crowned Hottest Beach Boy. 

Cutest Sun-kissed Bachelor Zheng Kaiwen said: “It is truly an honour to win this award. I joined this competition without thinking I would win anything but this was a nice surprise.” 

Hottest Beach Boy Shane Edward Tam said: “I’ve always love being in the sun and by the beach, playing sports and keeping active. Winning the Hottest Beach Boy prize, is perfect I guess?” 

The CLEO 50 Most Eligible Bachelors are renowned for having talent, success, personality, charisma and good looks. 

Alicia Tan, editor, CLEO, said: “I’m so happy that we took the party to the beach for the first time for our 20th anniversary. The energy was infectious and from the looks of it, our guests and readers had a really great time and left with a memorable impression of our iconic event.”
