Savour the best of European cuisine and wines at Salon Gourmet

Singapore, 6 February 2015 - For the first time, Sphere Exhibits, Singapore Press Holdings’ events and exhibitions subsidiary, will bring together Singapore’s top European culinary stars and their establishments in a year-long annual gourmet festival - Salon Gourmet 2015. 

Salon Gourmet 2015’s launch month takes place from 1 to 31 March 2015 and is presented by HSBC cards. Connoisseurs of European cuisines can look forward to more than 12 culinary events ranging from indulgent wine and spirits pairing dinners, sophisticated evening soirees to informative cooking demonstrations. Throughout the year, there are also monthly dinners and dining promotions exclusively for HSBC cardholders.  

The events will be held at critically-acclaimed European dining establishments including Scotts 27, Raffles Grill, Clifford, Stellar at 1-Altitude, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, Bar-Roque Grill and Buyan Russian Restaurant & Caviar Bar.

Headlining Salon Gourmet 2015 will be two Michelin-starred guest masterchefs Jean-Yves Leuranguer (1 michelin-starred Fouquet’s, Paris) and Ronan Kervarrec (2 michelin-starred La Chevre D’or, Nice). Chef Laurenguer will be hosted at Raffles Grill from 17 to 21 March and Chef Kervarrac will be hosted at Clifford from 24 to 28 March.

The highlight event of Salon Gourmet 2015 will be the ‘Culinary Stars of Europe’ dinner where five of Singapore’s top European chefs come together to present an exquisite dinner featuring their signature cuisine with luxurious wines from Domaine Barons de Rothschild (Lafite). 

Even after the launch month, the festival continues with 11 monthly wine pairing dinners till February 2016 at various leading European restaurants such as Esquina, Antoinette, Le Bistro Du Sommelier and more.

Salon Gourmet 2015 is the star-studded gathering of renowned local and international culinary maestros with three Michelin-rated chefs present for the month-long event.

Fronting the dinner will be Chef Lorenz Hoja, Chef de Cuisine of L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon.
