Zaobao.com launches lifestyle channel Z-Style

Singapore and Shanghai, 10 December 2014 --- Zaobao.com (www.zaobao.com), the online portal of Lianhe Zaobao, the Chinese flagship newspaper of Singapore Press Holdings (SPH), launches a brand new lifestyle channel Z-Style (早尚Z-Style) today. Readers can access Z-Style at www.zaobao.com/zstyle

Z-Style provides the stylish Chinese readers with information on the latest fashion and style trends. Representatives from the fashion industry and luxury brands graced the trade launch of Z-Style this evening at The Portman Ritz-Carlton in Shanghai. Dr Zhou Zhao Cheng, Editor of 
Zaobao.com, introduced Z-Style and did a presentation of the new channel to invited guests. 

Z-Style has the most up-to-date news on fashion and luxury lifestyle, offering readers exclusive features and profile stories about the upmarket fashion industry. Apart from featuring lifestyle content published in Lianhe Zaobao and ZbBz, a 
monthly lifestyle "newsgazine" by the Chinese daily, Zaobao.com also partners China's lifestyle interactive media Touchic to produce exciting content focusing on luxury lifestyle. Touchic, a digital media company which specialises in fashion and lifestyle, provides innovative online shopping experience for fashionable high-end users via mobile platforms such as iPhone and iPad.

The main sections of Z-Style include style and beauty, watches and jewellery, food and fine wines, cars and technology, interior designs and travel. Z-Style will be available on iPad and other mobile platforms by early next year. 

Zaobao.com, which is an internationally recognised and reputable news portal, attracts many distinguished Chinese readers. It recognises the need among the group of consumers from the rising middle-class in China for their choice of high-end fashion labels and premium lifestyle. The launch of Z-Style will also help readers who are outside of China to understand the current lifestyle trends in China, as well as the consuming habits of Chinese users.

Zaobao.com has a monthly click-through rate of more than 100 million, with more than 10 million unique visitors per month. Zaobao.com is also a multimedia platform consisting of website, mobile and tablet applications, and its bilingual social media content are available on Facebook, Twitter, Sina Weibo and WeChat amongst others. In China, Zaobao.com is placed in the list of top 10 news sites, as well as the most popular foreign media websites. Its lifestyle sections, covering fashion and trends, are also widely popular.

Properties
