Singapore, 26 November 2014 - The third edition of the SPH National Age Group Doubles 2014 will be held from 24-28 November 2014 at the Ministry of Education CCAB Hall. Admission is free.
The five days of intense competition will see participants compete in the preliminary, quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals of the Under-11, Under-13, Under-15 and Under-17 categories. The finals of the various categories will be held on 28 November.
The Guest-of-Honour for the finals is Mr Yatiman Yusof, Director, SPH Foundation.
The National Age Group Doubles was first introduced in 2003. Now into its eleventh year, it is held annually during the school holidays to attract more participation amongst the community. More than 150 participants have signed up for this year. Schools and parents are encouraged to bring their students and children to cheer on their peers and also to catch the action. The competition also serves as a platform for coaches to discover and develop the next generation of promising young local shuttlers.
