Tickets to Beerfest Asia 2014 available from 10 February

Singapore, 10 February 2014 - Singapore's premier beer festival is back to offer beer enthusiasts the chance to savour a variety of international beers. Beerfest Asia 2014, a four-day festival, is organised by Beerfest Asia Pte Ltd, co-owned by Sphere Exhibits Pte Ltd and Timbre Group. Sphere Exhibits is the events, roadshows, and exhibitions arm of Singapore Press Holdings Limited (SPH). Timbre Group is the music lifestyle company behind the chain of Timbre live music bars, festivals and music academies.

Beerfest Asia was started six years ago to raise the profile of the beer industry. The festival has grown bigger each year with an increasing level of consumer interest, attracting sell out crowds of more than 30,000 visitors in its 2013 edition, as well as a wider range of business opportunities for trade. This year's event will be held from 12 to 15 June 2014 at the Marina Promenade (F1 tracks behind Singapore Flyer) and is presented by United Overseas Bank Ltd (UOB).

Visitors can expect more than 400 types of international beers and live stage performances by tribute bands from all over the world. Tribute bands making their debut at Beerfest Asia 2014 include "Ice Cold Chilli Peppers" and "Noasis" from Australia. In addition, there will be plenty of opportunities to chill, watch world class stand up comedy acts, and sample delicious culinary offerings. There will also be a line up of beer workshops, talks and auctions for a holistic beer festival experience.

Beerfest Asia also presents the opportunity for companies in the retail, hospitality and food & beverage industries to try out new beer products and meet with trade suppliers and wholesalers. A special Trade Session will take place on12 June, between 3pm to 5pm before the festival is opened to the public. Industry participants who are keen on this private session can register via the Trade section at www.beerfestasia.com.

Moving forward, Beerfest Asia intends to look beyond Singapore shores for possible editions of the festival elsewhere in Asia. We also intend to make our presence felt in other key regional markets and focus on bringing in quality trade delegates to boost our Trade Session." Said Mr Edward Chia, Festival Director of Beerfest Asia 2014 and Managing Director of Timbre Group.

Together, we intend to deliver a better experience for the festival goers as well as to provide the best platform for the beer and F&B industry players from the region."

Tickets will go on sale from SISTIC (www.sistic.com.sg / (65) 6348 5555) from 10 February. Limited UOB Exclusive 1-Day passes at $15 are available, while stocks last. Advance 1-Day passes from $20 are available for the public. All tickets include one complimentary welcome beer (with the exception of VIP tickets) that can be redeemed on festival grounds. For die-hard Beerfest Asia fans, limited 4-Day passes and VIP packages with benefits such as 8 hours of free flow beers and express entry at festival gates are also available.

Properties

SPH REIT is a Singapore-based REIT established principally to invest, directly or indirectly, in a portfolio of income-producing real estate which is used primarily for retail purposes in Asia-Pacific, as well as real estate-related assets. The Seletar Mall is SPH's latest retail development and is expected to open at the end of 2014. This property is a potential asset to be injected into SPH REIT. SPH’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Times Development Pte Ltd, also developed a 43-storey upmarket residential condominium, Sky@eleven, at Thomson Road.
