Singapore, 10 January 2014 – Berita Harian (BH), Singapore's Malay-language daily published by Singapore Press Holdings (SPH), announced today its new all-in-one price package for its print, online, smartphone and tablet platforms, after a one-month free trial of its new smartphone and tablet apps, as well as a revamped website BeritaHarian.sg.
Readers can choose the BH all-in-one package, which includes the print, online, iPad, smartphone and HTML5 versions, at a price of $18.99 per month plus a delivery fee of $3-$5 depending on type of residence. Subscribers of the BH all-in-one package can access the BH app concurrently on up to 4 mobile devices, in addition to accessing the BH online edition.
Subscribers can access the full daily BH and other premium content – in PDF and native editions – as well as a 7-day archive of past BH issues on the digital platforms. Daily news summaries and real-time breaking news remain free for all to access.
The various BH editions can also be purchased separately. The BH iPad, BH Smartphone and BH Online subscription plans are each available at $16.45 a month. The cost of the BH Print subscription plan is $14.45 per month plus a delivery fee of $3-$5 (depending on type of residence).
The BH smartphone app is available to users of both iPhones and Android smartphones, as well as smartphone browsers that are compatible with HTML5 while the new tablet app is only available for iPad users. The smartphone and tablet editions offer BH in both native and PDF formats.
Both iOS apps for the iPhone and iPad can be downloaded from the App Store, while the Android app for smartphone is available on Google Play. The apps can be downloaded for free. HTML5 smartphone users can view the digital content via mobile.beritaharian.sg.
