Singapore, - The Myanmar Supply Chain Management Conference (MSCM), originally planned for 16-18 September, will now be held on 4-6 November in Myanmar. It is positioned as the only strategic supply chain management conference that addresses the importance of optimising supply chains and transport logistics networks in enhancing the new Myanmar economy.
Under the patronage of the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Transport, MSCM is organised by Sphere Conferences and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI). Following the successes of the Myanmar Hospitality and Tourism Conference, the Myanmar Urban Development Conference and the Myanmar Banking and Finance Conference, this is the fourth trade event to be organised by Sphere Conferences, the conference arm of Singapore Press Holdings (SPH).
MSCM 2013 will be a business platform for senior-level executives from the manufacturing, logistics and supply chain functions to expand their networks, and establish businesses in Myanmar. Government officials and representatives from various ministries, banks and financial service institutions, manufacturers, retailers, 3rd party logistics service providers, SCM software providers, S&OP software tools and professional consultants will be present at the event.
