Into its fourth year, the annual Awards recognises fine-dining restaurants that deliver superb experiences. A total of 36 honours will be handed out at the Awards Party to be held at Pan Pacific Singapore on 8 May 2013.
An external panel of ambassadors and head honchos who went incognito critiqued the restaurants. They came from a shortlist compiled by veteran food critics such as The Straits Times’ Tan Hsueh Yun and Wong Ah Yoke, The Business Times’ Jaime Ee and Lianhe Zaobao’s Dr Ng King Kang.
Restaurant Andre emerged as Restaurant of the Year with its fierce dedication to providing the best service and using the freshest ingredients. Other key awards included the Best Dinner Experience (Western) won by Iggy’s, as well as the Best New Restaurant Award which went to Pollen (Western) and Kaiseki Yoshiyuki (Asian).
