Country pavilions from Japan and Taiwan to make inaugural appearance at Franchising & Licensing Asia 2012!

Singapore, 29 October 2012 – Franchising & Licensing Asia (FLAsia) 2012, Asia’s most international event for Entrepreneurship, Business Opportunities & Intellectual Property Rights,will take place from 1 to 3 November at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, Marina Bay Sands. Mr Lee Yi Shyan, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Trade and Industry & Ministry of National Development, will be gracing the opening ceremony of the exhibition on 1 November. 

Into its seventh edition, FLAsia 2012 will welcome two first ever country pavilions from Japan and Taiwan, with exhibit profiles ranging from Franchise Suppliers/ Retail Equipment & Technologies to Real Estate/ Shopping Malls and Food & Beverages. Other country pavilions from Korea, United States of America and Singapore are also set to shine, housing world renowned promising brands and business concepts.

In total, FLAsia 2012 will welcome 217 international exhibitors and brands (a 17% increase from last year) from Italy, New Zealand, Philippines, Portugal, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom, Vietnam, amongst others, representing a diverse range of industries such as Senior Care Services/ Homecare Services, Food & Beverages, Health & Wellness, Adult/ Children Education, Cleaning & Environmental Services/ Maintenance Services.

Franchising and Licensing Association (Singapore) (FLA), started as Singapore's national franchise body. It was one of the founding members of the World Franchise Council. FLA, formerly known as Singapore International Franchise Association (SIFA), was established in 1993 with the mission to nurture and develop Singapore's franchise industry.

Events and Out-of-Home Advertising
