New reads and attractive giveaways in giant 504-page refreshed Her World October issue

Singapore, 21 September 2012 – Her World, Singapore’s best-read women’s magazine, has been revitalised and repackaged to give readers an even more engaging, useful and seamless all-in-one read. Discover the difference in its October issue, which hits newsstands today. 


The refreshed Her World, a publication of SPH Magazines Pte Ltd (“SPH Magazines”), remains as the voice of the sophisticated Singapore woman and the magazine for the stylish achiever. Besides new columns, the magazine continues to offer what it is known for – empowering reads on women’s issues and being the authority on fashion, beauty and lifestyle trends.

Exciting changes include a new section, Foreword, that kick-starts the magazine and updates readers on what’s trending that month. The section has bite-sized updates on the latest fashion, beauty, lifestyle, entertainment and social trends. It also includes a round-up of the hottest things to do for the month, as well as breezy yet intimate personal columns from the team covering topics such as friendships and life. 

Other new additions to the magazine include:

    · Fashion makeovers by Her World fashion editor Patrick Sin. 
    · Beauty Makeovers – where experts teach readers how to wear new makeup looks.
    · Beauty Concierge – where readers get help solving their tricky beauty problems and finding exclusive or rare beauty products and services.
    · Cheatsheets – which offers readers useful shortcuts on acing work, finances, health and fitness. 
    · City Guide – which presents bite-sized information on the hottest places to eat, stay, shop, party and visit in a different city every month
    · Horoscope – a three-page section by renowned astrologer and founder of Astrology Zone, Susan Miller.


Current favourites have been rejuvenated as well. FashionBeauty and Lifestyle sections now come with more expert how-tos and tips from industry insiders. Love Men Sex, which includes short features on dealing with the opposite sex, continues to cater to both single and married women in terms of dishing out advice and tips on how to handle relationships. Her World'smainstay topical and inspiring reads remain in the mix. 

In the 504-page October issue, readers will get a comprehensive section on how to pull off the latest runway trends, fab finds for shoppers, how to look luxe for less, the latest trends in skincare, makeup, perfumes, haircare, spas, and great beauty buys. Other features include one woman’s experience as a victim of an online sex scam, as well as inspiring stories of our annual Women of the Year winners.
