Take part in STProperty contest "So You Think You Know Singapore?"

STProperty wants to hear from members of the public who know of unique and interesting local road names

Singapore, 18 September 2012 – STProperty, Singapore Press Holdings' online property portal, has launched a nationwide contest involving unique and interesting road names found in Singapore. Titled “So You Think You Know Singapore?”, the contest encourages Singapore residents to capture photographs of peculiar road names they have come across and submit them on the contest website,

Entries will be judged based on the uniqueness of the street name and the originality of the photograph’s accompanying caption. Participants who strike a creative pose in their photographs will have an increased chance of winning.

Thirteen entries will be shortlisted and posted on the contest website on 27 September to allow members of the public to vote for their favourite photographs.

The top three entries stand to win $6,888 in cash (1
st prize), a Canon EOS 60D camera worth $1,549 (2nd prize) and a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 worth $998 (3rd prize). Also up for grabs are ten consolation prizes of $100 Harvey Norman vouchers.

Those who vote for their favourite photographs will also be rewarded – 50 lucky voters stand to win a $20 Starbucks gift card each.

The deadline for submission of entries is 25 September, 2359 hours. The public will be invited to vote for their favourite photographs from 27 September to 4 October on the contest website.
