Singapore, 31 August 2012 – Singapore's first all-new radio station in 20 years, Kiss 92, goes on air on Monday, 3 September.
SPH UnionWorks’ new channel begins transmission at 6am on Monday, with Maddy Barber helming the Morning Drive Time (6am to 10am) with The New Paper's Movie Guy, Jason Johnson. The duo will be joined by former news reader and journalist, Arnold Gay, who will make sure listeners wake up to the latest news and events in Singapore and around the world.
Kiss 92 is the only Singapore radio station that specifically targets women, with a blend of music, banter and wit that will liven up mornings and keep listeners engaged throughout the day.
Guests will include experts who will share their knowledge on a range of topics, from travel, food and relationships, to shopping, entertainment, financial planning and more.
Jazz Diva Claressa Monteiro keeps the mid-day fire burning from 10am to 2pm. She will be followed by another familiar stalwart in the radio scene, Jeremy Ratnam , who takes charge of Evening Drive Time (4pm to 8pm), with his easy-on-the-ear style.
Ryan Seacrest then adds a dose of Hollywood glamour on weeknights from 8 till midnight, as he brings listeners the Biggest Stars and all the latest music and entertainment news and gossip with his show "On Air with Ryan Seacrest".
As part of the station's launch campaign, Kiss92 has lined up an array of prizes that women love, including hotel staycations, spa experiences, overseas getaways, beauty products and exclusive social invites.
Kiss 92 is also planning a number of exciting signature events that will be announced shortly.

Against other local mainstream English music stations*, HOT FM91.3 saw its share doubled from 8% in 2009 to 16% in 2011 with listeners 15-39 years old, making it the third most popular music station for under 40s, and in the first half of 2012 further increased its weekly listenership to 308,000**, with its popular Breakfast Show "Rod Monteiro and The Married Men" grabbing the #2 share* of the Under 40 audience weekday mornings.
The newest radio station to hit the local FM market, KISS 92, is slated for launch in late 2012 with a targeted focus on women and families. It will provide in-depth women and family content, coupled with adult contemporary music. Women aged 25 and above, and families will find the channel informative and entertaining.
KISS 92 will see experts share their knowledge on topics such as Relationships and Family Matters, Health and Wellness issues, Financial Planning and Career Advancements. It will also cover Fashion and Beauty, Shopping, Entertainment, as well as offer listings of family friendly and community events. Tapping on its collaboration with SPH Magazines, KISS 92 will offer listeners the latest information, the best fashion and beauty bargains in town, and more.
UFM 100.3 is a highly-charged Mandarin infotainment station targeting at working professionals aged between 35 – 49 years that is specially catered to their lifestyle. Its creative, lively and engaging delivery style is able to consistently hook listeners on for a far longer period of listening. Program content is designed to cater specifically for the busy individuals with timely updates and discussion on current affairs, health and wellness, financial planning, property investment, communication, lifestyle, music and entertainment.
The station’s drive-time programs are anchored by veteran DJs Wenhong, Limei and Xiaozhu in the morning, and DJs Anna and Lingzhi in the evening. UFM 100.3 also introduces a new daytime at-work listening programme from 10am till 5pm, playing your favourite music, complementing with bite size info-capsules, sharing with listeners health tips, office survival skills and other useful lifestyle information.
The station actively engages its listeners through various interactive events such as dinner gatherings and its annual family day to build rapport and bonding.
