There are also other interesting health, nutrition and wellness products and services to look out for at this year's fair.
Exhibitors at the fair will be offering attractive discounts of as much as 50 per cent, gifts with purchase, free samples and more. To enjoy the offers, visitors simply need to cut out the coupons found in The Straits Times and Lianhe Zaobao on 4 and 5 August and present them at the respective booths. Shoppers who spend more than $20 are also entitled to redeem a free gift (while stocks last). Lucky shoppers also stand to win attractive prizes.
Besides products, services and activities for health conscious Singaporeans, Health & You Exhibition is a fair for families with young children with its popular “Kids Corner” packed with fun-filled activities for children aged 5 – 12 years old. Families with elderly would also find the fair beneficial as there will be free first aid workshops to equip them with first aid knowledge and skills needed during emergencies. For more energetic visitors, the “Game for fitness” corner will pump up their adrenaline with the newest Kinect games.
There will be lots of stage activities to entertain visitors. One of the highlights is “The Shuffle Dance Challenge” which is a hot favourite amongst teenagers and young adults. Shuffling is a style of dancing involving heel-to-toe movements which has recently been popularised by American electro-pop duo, LMFAO. The finals will be held on 5 August from 3.30pm to 5pm. A total of $5,000 cash and shopping vouchers will be given to the 5 winning teams. Other highlights include the “Ebene Strength & flexibility Challenge” and the “New Great Singapore Workout”.
