Spellbinding love stories at The New Paper Wedding Planner

Singapore, 27 June 2012 – Every couple’s story on how it all began is unique and makes for an interesting read. Witness 25 couples reveal the story of their love in the Couples’ Challenge organised by Singapore Press Holdings' CATS Classified in conjunction with The New Paper Wedding Planner 2012.

Games of love
Twelve couples will be selected from a qualifying round held on Friday, 29 June, to proceed to the semi-final round to be held on Saturday, 30 June. At the semi-finals, the couples will play two games – “Kisses, please!” and “Dinner Date”. The eight couples with the highest scores will make it to the final round on Sunday, 1 July.

In the final round, the eight pairs will play the game, “Honey, you missed a spot”, and later get the chance to impress the judges and audience with their love story told through the photographs they took in “The Love Story” challenge. See Annex 1 for details.

Bridal fashion show
Brides-to-be can glean ideas on what to wear on their big day from the parade of latest wedding gowns and evening wear from Yvonne Creative Bridal & Photo Studio.

One-stop venue for weddings
Since 2002, The New Paper Wedding Planner exhibition has established itself as a comprehensive one-stop venue for couples sourcing for wedding-related products and services.

There are more than 20 exhibitors taking part in the second edition of this year’s Wedding Planner. See Annex 2 for details.

All visitors who make purchases at the event will receive an exclusive CATS travel pillow worth $19. They also stand to win attractive prizes worth more than $8,000 such as a hotel stay and diamond jewellery in a lucky draw sponsored by Love & Co and Royal Plaza on Scotts.

A 36-page supplement will be published in CATS Fastads in The New Paper on Friday, 29 June.
