SPH launches “SPH IS ON” website

Singapore, 26 June 2012  Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) has officially launched the "SPH IS ON" website,www.sphison.com, today. 

"SPH IS ON" is a solutions-based cross-media ideology that effectively amplifies advertisers’ campaigns across multiple touch-points. This approach helps marketers engage and connect with their target consumers via SPH’s comprehensive suite of ON PRINT, ON LINE, ON AIR, ON MOBILE, ON SCREEN and ON GROUND products.

The "SPH IS ON" website makes it easy for users to access and explore SPH’s extensive range of media options, and come up with the best combination that not only maximises reach but also magnifies impact for their campaigns.

The website’s customer-centric design makes it easy for advertisers and advertising agency personnel to access the wealth of information available in this resource. These include: 

  • the most current updates on SPH’s suite of media products,
  • a wealth of new advertising executions involving creative media buys, technology-linked add-ons, innovative options, and
  • a wide range of integrated-media case studies and research findings.


In addition, the website can be launched easily with the SPH Media Widget. The widget, which users can download at 
http://widgets.asiaone.com/sphison, is a special feature that enables quick access to the website. It also provides users with notifications every time there are new updates.

Between June 26 and July 23, advertisers and advertising agencies can participate in a unique "Spot & Win" contest on the website and stand to win movie tickets each week. All entries will also be entitled to the Grand Draw where 3 lucky winners will walk away with an iPad each.

SPH's Chinese flagship newspaper Lianhe Zaobao has also launched its digital platforms which include a web application, as well as online and PDF versions.

Broadcasting
SPH has a 20 per cent stake in MediaCorp TV Holdings Pte Ltd, which operates free-to-air channels 5, 8 and U, and a 40 per cent stake in MediaCorp Press Limited, which publishes the free newspaper, Today. In the radio business, SPH has an 80 per cent stake in SPH UnionWorks Pte Ltd, which operates entertainment stations Radio 100.3 in Chinese and 91.3FM in English.

Events and Out-of-Home Advertising
SPH’s events subsidiary Sphere Exhibits organises innovative consumer and trade events and exhibitions. In addition, SPH has ventured into out-of-home (OOH) advertising through its wholly-owned subsidiary, SPH MediaBoxOffice Pte Ltd, Singapore’s leading Digital Out-of-Home advertising company.

Properties
SPH owns and manages Paragon, the prime retail and office complex in the heart of Orchard Road, Singapore's main shopping belt. Its latest retail development, The Clementi Mall, started business operations in 2011. SPH's wholly-owned subsidiary, Times Development Pte Ltd, has also developed a 43-storey upmarket residential condominium, Sky@eleven, at Thomson Road.
