Singapore, 1 September 2011 – The popular Shin Min Arm Wrestling Challenge (??????) is back with more action! Into its third year, the Shin Min Arm Wrestling Challenge is organised by Singapore Press Holdings' evening daily Shin Min Daily News and sponsored by Dester Beer.
Competitors will be vying for $10,000 worth of cash prizes. The Champion of each of the two categories ("70kg and below" category and "above 70kg" category) wins $2,000, a trophy and a Dester Beer hamper. This challenge is for men aged 21 years and above only.
The Preliminary Round, which comes complete with sexy Ring Girls to introduce the contestants, will be held on 3 September. Competitors will be vying for a place in the Grand Finals, where one of eight finalists will eventually be crowned the winner of his category.
Besides catching the action on stage, audiences will be entertained by popular Getai artistes Wang Lei (??) and Babes In E City.
There will also be fringe activities to engage the audience. A "Mighty Hunk", accompanied by two Ring Girls, will go into the crowd and have friendly arm-wrestling matches with the audience. Members of the audience will determine whether they will compete with the "Mighty Hunk" or a Ring Girl by picking a card from three cards representing the Hunk and the two Ring Girls.
The ladies in the audience are not left out from the action. Those who are game for it can go up on stage to take part in the special "Ladies Challenge" and pit themselves against one another.
The Shin Min Arm Wrestling Challenge 2011 events will be hosted by popular Radio 100.3 DJs Huang Wenhong and Li Mei.
