Mr Melvin Koh, General Manager of Exhibits Inc Pte Ltd, said: “The COMEX Show has been at the forefront of the latest innovations, whether they are IT, mobile or digital electronics. This development has been spurred by widespread adoption of social media and consumers who are more discerning towards a better multimedia experience. As evident from our past shows, the response by exhibitors and visitors alike to COMEX has been phenomenal.”

Mr Koh added: “In 2010, we attracted 815,000 visitors and recorded $68.5 million in sales. This year, with 5 per cent more exhibitors on board and 5 per cent more exhibition space taken up, we are targeting to draw in 850,000 visitors and a projected $75 million in sales. With exciting offerings and a wide range of hot deals, COMEX 2011 has something for everyone.”

Mr Chua Wee Phong, Executive Director of Sphere Exhibits Pte Ltd, the holding company of Exhibits Inc, said: “Riding on COMEX’s popularity and successes, we are constantly exploring new ways to expand the event’s scale and scope further. We are committed to attracting more marquee brands as exhibitors to our show and having the event serve as a launch pad for them to introduce their latest product offerings into Singapore and the region. We will also look at enhancing the consumers’ experience by providing a comfortable and fuss-free shopping environment, such as bigger exhibition spaces and wider aisles and walkways. By retaining their interest and attention, we aim to reinforce our value proposition as the country’s leading and most well-attended IT event.”
