SINGAPORE, 8 JUNE 2004 - Lianhe Zaobao Sports section is getting a fresh new look!
The revamped Zaobao Sports will be launched on Thursday, 10 June 2004, in conjuction with the upcoming Euro Football Championships 2004.
Readers will get more sports news as the pages will be increased, and there will be more colours, more reports and more pictures of favourite sports personalities, such as David Beckham, Michael Owen, Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’Neal and Yao Ming.
Soccer fans can look forward to extensive coverage on soccer action around the world, starting with Euro 2004. They will also get value-added match forecasts and analyses from soccer experts, as well as tips from a panel of experts.
Zaobao sports reporters will also give their commentaries on the matches and their take on happenings in the world of sports in their own columns.

To kick off the launch, Zaobao Sports will run a series of contests for readers throughout Euro 2004, with attractive prizes to be won. The top draw is a trip to the final Euro 2004 match in Lisbon.
