Singapore, 21 July 2011 – Singapore Nautilus, a magazine published by SPH Magazines Pte Ltd (“SPH Magazines”) on behalf of Singapore Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), has won three awards at the recent Tabbie Awards 2011, a leading international competition for trade, association and business publications.
Singapore Nautilus clinched Gold in the Front Cover, Digital Imagery category, winning praise from the judging panel for a "great job in combining a lot of information in an interesting, eye-catching layout" and "nice use of colours". It also received Honourable Mentions in both the Feature Design and Front Cover, Illustration categories.
Published quarterly, Singapore Nautilus provides insights and comprehensive information on the local maritime industry, and is distributed worldwide to global industry players.
This is the magazine’s third win since SPH Magazines was appointed publishing agent in November 2009. Singapore Nautilus also garnered recognition in two other competitions – a Silver for Best Overall Design 4+ colour category in the 2011 Magnum Opus Awards and an Award of Excellence in the Custom-Published Magazine category in the 2011 APEX Awards for Publication Excellence.
