Singapore, 14 July 2011 – Singapore Press Holdings' CATS Recruit will be organising its largest ever Scholarship & Top University education fair this Sunday (17 July) at Suntec Singapore.
Besides bringing together scholarship boards and top international universities at a single venue, this year’s Scholarship & Top University Fair is also the biggest ever since its inception in 2009. With 41 universities, 18 scholarship boards and five student-services organisations collectively taking 64 booths, this year’s fair exceeds last year’s total of 53 booths.
Leading universities from the United States (US), the United Kingdom and Germany will be present at the event. Amongst this prestigious line-up are the Imperial College London, the University of Warwick, the Technical University of Munich, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, John Hopkins University and seven out of the eight Ivy League universities including Cornell, Harvard, Columbia, Brown, Princeton, Yale and the University of Pennsylvania. These educational institutions will be fielding students and officials to share insights and address queries from visitors.
Also present are the scholarship boards of premium employers, which include those from the Changi Airport Group, the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore, the National University of Singapore and Singapore Press Holdings. These scholarship boards will be looking to attract the brightest and most talented candidates at the event.
In addition, the United States Education Information Center (USEIC), the British Council and the German Academic Exchange Service will be conducting talks on various topics including enrolment requirements, while ICON+, an education consulting firm, will be sharing their expertise on how to do well in the SAT, a prerequisite for college admission in the US.
To help students with the financial aspect of tertiary education, RHB Bank will be present to offer various study-loan options.
CATS Recruit would like to cordially invite you and your photographer/videographer to the event.
