Paragon introduces a new retail era with the fusion of Fashion, Robotic Technologies and Virtual Reality
Singapore, 20 September 2017 – The future of visual merchandising arrives at Paragon, possibly the first shopping mall along Orchard Road to present an eclectic display of Fashion with Robotic Technology and Virtual Reality from 22 September to 15 October 2017.
With all things digitised, shoppers can expect an exciting and interactive line-up of Glamleisure displays and activities at level 1 main atrium, sporting weekly themes to ‘wow’ even the most discerning fashionistas!
Get ready to be enthralled by the Samsung VR Gear experience which transports shoppers to a one-of-a-kind VIRTUAL REALITY FASHION RUNWAY with Paragon as the backdrop and mannequins morph into models strutting along the runway. This experience is specially created by Raffles College of Higher Education students.
Mr Giuseppe (Joe) Spinelli, Principal of Raffles College of Higher Education, said: “Raffles College of Higher Education’s interdisciplinary approach towards design education makes fashion more accessible to the public. Together with the Fashion Design students, the team of Multimedia Design students creates an interactive multisensory fashion show through the use of multimedia and virtual reality technology. We are thrilled to be part of this collaboration in which Raffles Design students apply their creative knowledge and skills, as part of the mall’s initiative to elevate shoppers’ experience at Paragon.”
From 25 September to 1 October, shoppers will also be in for a visual treat with the displays of the Salvatore Ferragamo and Moschino’s Fall/Winter 2017 collections. Ferragamo focuses on the heritage of the brand and treats day and evening wear with femininity and dynamism – an active woman who combines flowing, sensual clothes and technical garments with an elegant twist. They will also be celebrating a new chapter in its history with the launch of the Fall Winter 2017-18 Men’s Ready-to-Wear collection.
Moschino’s Fall Winter 2017 collection presents a Moschino woman so enraptured with fashion, she wraps herself in every material to bring her closer to it. Moschino will also be launching a special capsule collection of Ready-To-Wear, handbags and accessories with the iconic My Little Pony (MLP) universe – the first for luxury fashion house with exclusive rights. This exclusive showcase will be located along Paragon’s level 1 linkway.
Athleisure collections will kick off on a high note from 2 to 15 October
, showcasing the latest sporty casual fashion styled by PUMA, Star360, DKNY, AX Exchange, Diesel and more. Style up in your latest sports gear and join in the fitness workout rhythm choreographed by PUMA on the weekend of 7 and 8 October
. Shoppers can also look out for PUMA’s latest Velvet Rope Collection, worn by Kylie Jenner.
Singapore Medical Specialists Centre (SMSC) will also be showcasing robotic medical technologies and shares interesting insights on sports health physics encompassing diet programme, medical health precautions and the likes, from 9 to 15 October
