The Seletar Mall celebrates NS50 with the National Servicemen and their families

Singapore, 28 August 2017 – The Seletar Mall is delighted to commemorate 50 years of National Service (NS50) with a year-long programme of events and privileges starting from 28 August 2017 to 31 August 2018

Past and present National Servicemen simply need to turn up in their uniforms or show their 11B identification card and they can participate in the events and enjoy the promotions at the mall. The National Servicemen can also bring down their NS50 voucher letter for verification if they do not have their 11B identification card with them.

Events / Activities

A Journey of Discovery – Standard Obstacle Course
28 August to 3 September11am to 9pm
Finals: 3 September, 3pm
To kick-start the year-long programme, The Seletar Mall is organising a mini Standard Obstacle Course* at the atrium, with a total of six challenges to complete. The fastest challenger each day (from Monday to Saturday) will stand to win $200 SPH Malls Vouchers.

Catch the Top Challengers battle it out at the final showdown on 3 September. Winners will stand to win close to $5,000 worth of SPH Malls Vouchers and prizes.  Dr Lam Pin Min, Senior Minister of State for Health and Transport, Member of Parliament for Sengkang West SMC and Grassroots Adviser to Sengkang West GROs, will be gracing the event.

*National Servicemen need not make any minimum spend to participate in the obstacle course. Other shoppers need a minimum spend of $10 to participate.

Spouse Club
6 December, 10am

With a minimum spend of $50, spouse and children of the National Servicemen will be entitled to redeem a ticket* to a free movie event at Shaw Theatres at The Seletar Mall every quarter. 

The first movie session is on 6 December 2017. Receipts can be accumulated from 4 September to 5 December 2017. Seats are limited and on a first-come-first-served basis. Please approach the B2 Information Counter for the redemption of the ticket for the movie event.

*Each ticket admits up to one adult and one child. Ticket holder is able to bring in an additional child if the child is below 0.9m in height and does not require a physical seat. Spouse of National Servicemen needs to bring along a copy/photocopy of the 11B card for verification. Other terms and conditions apply


Mall Promotions

Complimentary 2-hour Parking Redemption
Till 31 August 2018
The Seletar Mall is offering a 2-hour parking redemption on weekdays (including public holidays if public holidays fall on a weekday), from 10am to 10pm with a minimum spending of $20 in a single receipt. Valid for the first 100 National Servicemen per day.

Exclusive Tenants’ Promotions
Till 31 August 2018     

Enjoy special discounts and privileges when National Servicemen shop at participating tenants at The Seletar Mall.

Lower tier for Gift with Purchase
National Servicemen will also enjoy a lower tier when they redeem for premiums during major campaigns organised at The Seletar Mall. Look out for more details in the various campaign collaterals. National Servicemen must be present during the redemption.

About The Seletar Mall
