Singapore, 7 September 2011 – Singapore is hosting the World Food Fair 2011 that will showcase the most comprehensive and scrumptious spread of local, Asian and International favourites from tomorrow to Sunday (8 to 11 September 2011).
The event, organised by Exhibits Inc, a subsidiary of Singapore Press Holdings, is billed as the largest annual food and beverage event in Singapore. It will be held at Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The four-day event is open from 11am to 10pm daily and is expected to attract over 250,000 visitors.
Melvin Koh, General Manager, Exhibits Inc, said: "The World Food Fair has grown tremendously with the development of the F&Bindustry. Our aim has always been to maximise value for our exhibitors and visitors, through raising the standards and variety of the event and its components."
Visitors to the food fair will be able to sample new products from an array of leading food and beverage manufacturers and suppliers, while enjoying discounts on selected products. Those who take part in the World Food Fair newspaper cut-out coupon lucky draw could also win a cash prize of $6,888. This cut-out coupon can be found in The Straits Times, The New Paper, My Paper, Lianhe Zaobao, Lianhe Wanbao and Shin Min Daily News from 7 to 11 September.
For the first time, the World Food Fair will be giving away 2000 pieces of vouchers (worth $5 each) on Thursday 8 September and Friday 9 September only. The vouchers will be given away between 11am and 4pm at the entrance of Hall 404 (limited to one voucher per person).
