Singapore, 13 July 2011 – The Food and Electronics Bazaar is back again this year with a wider food spread and more irresistible bargains for electronic gadgets.
Organised by Sphere Exhibits Pte Ltd (Sphere), a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore Press Holdings, and sponsored by Owl, the three day event runs from 15 to 17 July 2011 at Singapore Expo Hall 4. It opens daily from 11am to 9pm. Admission is free.
Spanning 6,500 sqm, the Food and Electronics Bazaar 2011 will appeal to the food-loving and tech-savvy consumer who is always keen to try out new food and enjoy great bargains.
Mr Chua Wee Phong, Executive Director of Sphere Exhibits, said: “Eating and shopping are two favourite local pastimes. When these are housed under one roof, consumers can take their time to research on the electronic products and indulge in sumptuous Asian food at the same time.”

The first 2,000 visitors to the exhibition each day can purchase selected items at just $1. Items include electronic products such as standing fans, digital photo frames, computer mouse, and food items like rice and cooking oil*.

- Branded Electronics at Great Discounts
Participating exhibitor, Audio House, is offering discounts of up to 90 per cent for showroom sets, old stock and brand new electronic items. Digital cameras, notebooks, netbooks, plasma television sets, and kitchen appliances from top brands are available on sale at Audio House’s booth.
- Asian Food Delights
Visitors can go on a food hunt for a wide variety of delectable Asian foods and Singapore’s famous hawker stalls at the food section with more than 50 booths. They can also sample new food products, enjoy great bargains on culinary ingredients and check out the wide range of health supplements on sale.
