Singapore, 18 January 2010 – Sphere Exhibits, a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore Press Holdings (SPH), will be the co-organiser of the 2nd Beerfest Asia. The event will take place from 16 – 20 June 2010 at the F1 tracks in front of the F1 Singapore pit building.
Together with Beerfest Pte Ltd, Sphere Exhibits will target to bring in more than 250 different kinds of beer from all over the world and they will be made available at prices from as low as S$3.
The organisers are targeting to attract 25,000 attendees to the five-day event which will see two gigantic marquees covering a total of 6,500 square metres, set up in German beer cellar style. With an additional 1,000 square meters of marqueed area from 2009, beer lovers and sports fans can also expect broadcasts of the 2010 FIFA World Cup matches and exhilarating live stage performances.
There will also be stalls offering a wide variety of delectable food and interesting drinking games stalls to complement the assortment of beers on sale.
