Singapore, 6 July 2009 – Think you may win the grand prize of a Derbi Terra Adventure 125 motorbike in The New Paper Auction? Come find out at The New Paper Auction finale event at Suntec Galleria Foyer on Saturday, 11 July from 11am – 6pm.
Deejays from Radio 91.3FM – Jeremy Ratnam, Jonathan, Boy Thunder and Cheryl Miles will be there to kick-off the event with a series of fun and exciting activities.
"Live" bidding at the event is possible for readers who have been faithfully collecting The New Paper Dollars (TNP$) since the 10-week campaign started on 27 April. They can bid for a sizzling date with hot bods from The Married Men – Rod Monteiro and Andre Hoeden, who host the drive-time segment on Radio 91.3FM; or a chance to be a co-host on Radio 91.3FM’s ‘Hot 30 Countdown' with DJ Hutch.
Readers can also use their remaining TNP$ to bid for mystery items such as home appliances and Mp3s, or use them to take part in carnival games and activities such as air-brush tattooing. Or they can exchange them for TNP$ badges to be kept as memorabilia.
Those without TNP$ are welcome to attend the event where fun-filled stage activities such as yo-yo demonstrations, fire and stunt shows, Latin dance and cheer-leading performances, await them.
Mr Chua Wee Phong, Executive Vice-President of SPH's Circulation Department said, “We would like to thank our sponsors and readers for the success of The New Paper Auction. What is interesting is that many readers gathered support from their family and friends to accumulate the TNP$ to bid for their favourite items. I think apart from the prizes, this campaign has created a great way to bond and share with The New Paper!”
Your journalist, photographer and/or film crew are invited to cover The New Paper Auction Finale Event.
